Blue Jay Tuesday - Brianna Barfield, Softball

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Department of Athletics is continuing its fun new weekly initiative called Blue Jay Tuesday, which will feature a different USJ student-athlete answering a series of 10 questions every Tuesday to help fans better get to know the Blue Jays. Last week, USJ featured Lauren Pelletier in the eighth release, a senior on the volleyball team. Debuting in the ninth installment of Blue Jay Tuesday is senior Brianna Barfield (North Attleboro, Mass.) from the USJ softball team.

1) What is your favorite color? - Blue

2) Who is your favorite band/music artist? - Eminem

3) What is the most memorable moment of your USJ softball career? - The most memorable moment of my softball career definitely has to be being a part of the 2019 team that won the GNAC Championship!

4) What is your favorite animal? - Fish

5) What are you currently watching on Netflix? - Schitts Creek

6) What is the best part of being a member of the USJ softball team? - The best part of the USJ softball team has to be the relationships I built with my teammates and coaches. Getting along with everyone and having a good team atmosphere meant everything to me.

7) Who is your favorite superhero? - Captain America

8) Why did you choose USJ? - I really liked the small campus and small class sizes that USJ offered.

9) What is your favorite holiday? - Christmas!

10) What are your plans after USJ? - I fully intend to become a social worker and work with the elderly or developmentally disabled.
