Athletes Honored in Ceremony
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Saint Joseph athletic department celebrated winter and spring award winners recently at the O’Connell Center.
USJ senior basketball player Terese Cerins was honored with the Nancy Spada Athletic Leadership Award, which was presented by Arthur and Nancy Spada. Softball player Emily Hummel and soccer player Kristin Whitman were honored with the Senior Scholar Athlete Award and soccer player Chrissy Witham was honored with the Blue Jays Senior Student Athlete Award.

Swimming & Diving – Most Valuable: Suki Hood; Most Improved: Amanda Willhoft; Coaches’ Award: Samantha Nichols.
Softball – Most Valuable: Patti Sciglimpaglia; Most Improved: Ashley Gall; Coaches’ Award: Emily Hummel and Stephanie Valerio.
Lacrosse – Most Valuable: Erika Leitao; Most Improved: Justine Mojsa; Coaches’ Award: Francesca Mastria.
