WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – University of Saint Joseph freshman lacrosse player Rose St. Hilaire (West Hartford, Conn.) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the period ending April 17, it was announced Monday.
St. Hilaire scored 14 goals and had four assists in a 1-2 week. She scored eight goals and added two assists in last Tuesday’s 13-7 victory over Albertus.
She won the award for the third time this season.
For the season, St. Hilaire leads the Blue Jays (4-8) with 43 goals and is tied for fourth among all GNAC players. USJ next plays at Johnson & Wales Tuesday, April 19 in a 7 p.m. GNAC match-up.
