WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - University of Saint Joseph (USJ) head men's lacrosse coach Andrew Fink has been selected to serve on the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Rules Committee. Fink's appointment began in September 2020 and runs through August of 2024.
Fink joins seven other head coaches and administrators who serve on the committee, which governs all aspects of the rules for the sport of men's lacrosse. The group meets in person at least once per year at NCAA headquarters, and all members are required to attend the Coaches' Convention.
Fink, who joined the USJ staff in 2018 to startup the men's lacrosse program after 16 successful years at Mount Ida College, is thrilled with his appointment to the committee. "I am honored to be selected for this four-year position on the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Rules Committee. It is an amazing opportunity to represent USJ, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference and Division III on a national committee. I am looking forward to meeting with some of the best coaches in the country and discussing how to make the game better."
In addition to USJ, a few of the other schools represented on the committee are the University of Virginia, University of Maryland and Saint Michael's College.
