Men's Swim Makes Gains In Plymouth State Dual Meet

PLYMOUTH, N.H. — The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team competed in a dual meet at Plymouth State University (PSU) Friday afternoon in the PSU Natatorium.

While there is no men's swimming & diving team at PSU, that did not stop the Blue Jays from putting in a few personal bests as they get better each and every day. Sophomore captain Jack Monroe (Waterbury, Conn.) dropped over three seconds in the 100 freestyle, while freshman David Kavanaugh (West Hartford, Conn.) worked the one and three meter diving boards for the first time in his career.

The Blue Jays return to the pool for senior night on Friday, January 17, in a double dual meet with Westfield State and Western New England. The action kicks off in the Bruyette Natatorium at 4:30 p.m.
