In High School: Played softball for four years . . . Member of four SCC Quinnipiac Division champions, two SCC Tournament champs and the 2006 CIAC Class LL state champs . . . Won academic awards in Latin, French, Chemistry and Physics.  

At Saint Joseph: Played in and started 41 games in her first year with a .293 batting average. Was second on the team with 20 RBI and also had 36 hits, six doubles and 15 runs scored. 

Personal: Born Jan. 8, 1992 in Middletown . . . Parents are Dana and Lisa Durant . . . Has a brother Logan, 11.
