Again Lasell started quickly in the second half and a pair of goals in the first 70 seconds allowed the Lasers to extend their lead to 9-3. But USJ battled back with its best stretch of the game, a four-goal run tu pull within two. Foster scored the last two goals in the run to get the score to 9-7 with 21 minutes still remaining. Lasell answered with a decisive four-goal run of its own to make it 13-7 with 15 minutes left, but the Blue Jays kept battling and scored three of the game's final four goals including two from Gambino.
