Everyone Contributes in Win at Bay Path

HOLYOKE, Mass. – Devon Diliberto (Waterbury, Conn.) had 19 points and five assists and Heather Framski (Prospect, Conn.) scored 12 as the University of Saint Joseph defeated Bay Path 80-57 Tuesday in a non-conference basketball game at Holyoke Community College.

Saint Joseph improved to 2-1 overall and Bay Path fell to 1-2.

Diliberto scored 13 first-half points and St. Joseph forced 19 Bay Path turnovers in building a 48-21 halftime lead. The Blue Jays scored the first seven points of the game, never trailed and led 28-7 after 12 minutes.

Mary Hyde (Derby, Conn.) scored 11 points for St. Joseph and Stephanie DeJesus (Meriden, Conn.) scored 10. All 10 Blue Jays who dressed scored and had at least two rebounds; nine had at least one assists and one steal.

St. Joseph is off during Thanksgiving break and returns to action at Daniel Webster Tue. Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. The Blue Jays next play home Sat. Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. against Connecticut College.
