Tennis Loses at Johnson & Wales
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Saint Joseph tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision at Johnson & Wales Saturday in its first GNAC match of the season.
Johnson & Wales improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the GNAC; St. Joseph is 3-4.
Rebecca Mauri (Meriden, Conn.) at No. 2 singles and Meghan Toth (Naugatuck, Conn.) at No. 5 singles both won a set before dropping third-set tiebreakers.
USJ is off until playing at Mount Ida, sun. Oct. 6 at noon.
