Boston, Mass. – Ciara Perez (Manchester, Conn.) had eight kills and Elizabeth Tuazon (Mystic, Conn.) had 12 digs, but the Saint Joseph volleyball team dropped a three-set GNAC match to Emerson Wednesday.
Emerson improved to 14-8 overall and remained unbeaten in the league at 8-0. Saint Joseph is 5-19 and 1-9. Scores by set were 25-12, 25-20 and 25-8.
Samantha Edwon (Beacon Falls, Conn.) and Rebecca DiPinto (Burlington, Conn.) each chipped in with three kills apiece for the Blue Jays.
Saint Joseph next plays at Bard, Sat. Oct. 20 in a tri-match that also includes Sarah Lawrence, beginning at 1 p.m.
