Wesley, LeGault Named April HHC Athletes of the Month
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Department of Athletics has announced the Hartford HealthCare Athletes of the Month for April, the eighth and final full month of the 2025-26 season. These student-athletes excelled during a highly competitive slate of contests, standing out with their individual performances. The award is presented to one male and one female student-athlete across all sports at the conclusion of each calendar month on behalf of USJ Athletics and Hartford HealthCare.
Nick Wesley (Men's Lacrosse) - Wesley, a senior from Wakefield, Mass., anchored USJ's defense during a strong April, helping the Blue Jays go 5–2 and secure the No. 2 seed in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship Tournament. He finished the month with three points (1G, 2A), 48 ground balls, and 25 caused turnovers. He scored his first goal of the season in a 26–2 win over Colby-Sawyer College and recorded at least four ground balls in every game, along with three or more caused turnovers in five of the seven contests. The honor marks the first time that Wesley has been named a Hartford HealthCare Athlete of the Month.
Anna LeGault (Women's Lacrosse) - LeGault, a junior attack from Colchester, Conn., put on an offensive clinic during April, tallying a team-high 56 points off 44 goals and 12 assists. LeGault recorded at least four points in eight of the nine games that the Blue Jays competed in and tallied seven or more points in four contests. LeGault turned in a dominant performance on April 4 against Elms College, tallying a season-high 11 points while surpassing the 200-career-point mark. She scored eight goals and added three assists to lead USJ to a 19–8 win. The honor marks the third Hartford HealthCare Athlete of the Month award in her career.
