Men's Hoops Stays Undefeated, Trounce Chargers Saturday, 103-62

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The No. 7 nationally-ranked University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's basketball team kept it rolling, trouncing the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College (CSC), 103-62, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest inside the O'Connell Center Saturday afternoon. It marks the second consecutive 41-point triumph for the Blue Jays, who remain undefeated on the 2021-22 season with the victory and improve to 10-0 overall and 5-0 in the GNAC. USJ is one of just two remaining undefeated teams in Division III. Meanwhile, Colby-Sawyer dips to 6-7 overall and 3-4 in the conference with the setback.

With the victory, the Blue Jays have also now won 12 consecutive games dating back to the abbreviated 2020-21 season and 19 consecutive conference games, with their last GNAC loss coming in the 2019 GNAC Championship in USJ's first-ever season as a program. The 12-game streak is now tied for the second-longest active winning streak in Division III, while the 19-game conference streak is also the second-longest active streak.
