SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Graduate student Aidan D'Amato (Tolland, Conn.) and senior Jay Kajander (Reading, Mass.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's lacrosse team have been selected to compete in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East/West Senior All-Star Game, which will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on the campus of Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island.

2025 NEILA EAST/WEST SENIOR ALL-STAR GAME ROSTERS

The duo will represent USJ on the West team. Their selections mark the third time in program history—and the third consecutive year—that Blue Jays have been chosen for the NEILA Senior All-Star Game. They will also be two of 10 players representing the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) at the event.

D'Amato, who transferred to USJ from Allegheny College prior to the 2025 season, led the Blue Jays' offense with a team-high 57 points, including 42 goals and 15 assists. He finished the season ranked seventh in the GNAC in goals scored and ninth in total points, earning a spot on the All-GNAC First Team.

Kajander was a defensive standout for USJ in 2025, ranking second on the team with 16 caused turnovers. The defenseman also collected 27 ground balls and scored one goal during the season.

The NEILA East/West Senior All-Star Game features 51 players from NCAA Divisions I, II and III. All participants were nominated by head coaches within the NEILA and then ranked and selected by a committee, recognizing seniors from all three NCAA divisions who played their college careers in the New England region.
