Seven Blue Jays Earn Men’s Lacrosse All-GNAC Honors

WINTHROP, Mass. – Senior defenseman Nick Wesley (Wakefield, Mass.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's lacrosse team headlined a group of seven Blue Jays named to All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Teams, as announced Monday by the league's front office.

Wesley earned All-GNAC First Team honors and was joined by senior attack Nick Pestrichello (Newington, Conn.) and juniors Vinny Pusateri III (Fitchburg, Mass.) and Noah Isleib (Easton, Mass.), who were named to the All-GNAC Second Team. Juniors Brenden Tedeschi (Orange, Vt.) and Mason Koloski (Lincoln, R.I.) earned All-GNAC Third Team recognition, while freshman Jase Cronin (Rockland, Mass.) rounded out the honorees with All-Sportsmanship Team honors. Voting was conducted by the league's 13 head men's lacrosse coaches and did not take postseason play into account.

Wesley, who transferred to USJ from Saint Joseph's College of Maine, anchored the Blue Jays' defensive unit by setting program records with 59 caused turnovers and 117 ground balls. His totals ranked among the national leaders, as he finished second in NCAA Division III in caused turnovers and 41st in ground balls. The honor marks the first all-conference distinction of Wesley's career and the third time in program history a Blue Jay has earned All-GNAC First Team recognition.

Pestrichello, who returned to the Blue Jays for the 2026 season, led the USJ offense with 67 points on a team-high 53 goals and 14 assists. He finished third in the GNAC in goals and sixth in total points. The honor marks the third all-conference recognition of his career after earning All-Rookie Team honors in 2023 and All-GNAC Second Team recognition in 2024.

Pusateri played a key role on the USJ defense in 2026, finishing second on the team with 24 caused turnovers while collecting 43 ground balls. The selection marks the second all-conference honor of Pusateri's career after earning All-GNAC Third Team recognition in 2024.

Isleib enjoyed a breakout season as the Blue Jays' starting goalkeeper in 2026, finishing second in the GNAC in goals-against average (7.17) and save percentage (59.8%) while ranking eighth in total saves (153). He also etched his name into the USJ record books by setting program records in both goals-against average and save percentage. The honor marks the first all-conference selection of Isleib's career.

Tedeschi posted a strong junior season for USJ, finishing second on the team with 34 goals while adding six assists for 40 points, the third-highest total on the roster. The honor marks the first all-conference recognition of his career.

Koloski rounded out the Blue Jays' defensive standouts in 2026, finishing fourth on the team with 14 caused turnovers while scooping up 29 ground balls. The selection marks his first career all-conference honor.
