Bio

Brett Garber is set to begin his fourth season as an assistant coach for the USJ men's lacrosse team in 2026.

Prior to joining the Blue Jays, Garber served as the head coach and program director at nearby the Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford, Conn., for five seasons. Before his tenure at Kingswood Oxford, Garber was an assistant coach at Hall High School in West Hartford for three seasons. While at Hall, Garber was named the US Lacrosse Assistant Coach of the Year in Connecticut during the 2018 season. Garber began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach for Connecticut College during the 2015 season.

Before beginning his coaching career, Garber played nine seasons in Major League Lacrosse, suiting up for the Boston Cannons, Rochester Rattlers and Ohio Machine.

Prior to making the jump to the professional game, Garber was a standout player for the UMass Minutemen, being named an All-American during his playing career. Garber graduated from UMass in 2007.
