Men's Swimming & Diving Competes in Blue Jay Pentathlon
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team made their 2025-26 Bruyette Natatorium debut on Friday night, competing in the annual Blue Jay Pentathlon. The Blue Jays, alongside Albertus Magnus College, Western New England University, Eastern Connecticut State University, and Westfield State University, took part in an individual-based set of events, where the best combined time over five events would be declared the winner. Sophomore Aiden Hebb (Waterbury, Conn.) topped the charts for the men's team, finishing in second.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Hebb finished second after posting a time of 2:44.05.
- Freshman Kyle Januszewski (North Haven, Conn.) placed ninth, finishing with a time of 2:54.48
- Sophomores Chris Capen (Wilbraham, Mass.) and Nate Brasky (Madison, Conn.) rounded out the Blue Jays' lineup, finishing in 11th and 12th place, respectively.
UP NEXT
The Blue Jays return to the pool next on Friday, October 24, hosting a double-dual meet against Albertus Magnus and Plymouth State inside the Bruyette Natatorium. The meet is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm.
