Hebb, Januszewski Earn GNAC Men's Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards

WINTHROP, Mass. – Sophomore Aiden Hebb (Waterbury, Conn.) and freshman Kyle Januszewski (North Haven, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team were named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Swimmer of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, it was announced by the conference front office on Monday afternoon in its second weekly report of the 2025-26 season. The honor marked the fifth time that Hebb has been honored by the GNAC and the first time in Januszewski's career.

Hebb paced the Blue Jays at the annual Blue Jay Pentathlon, finishing in second place overall. The sophomore posted a combined overall time of 2:44.05, recording times of 26.38 seconds in the 50 Fly, 27.75 seconds in the 50 Backstroke, 29.03 seconds in the 50 Breaststroke, 23.79 seconds in the 50 Free and 57.10 seconds the 100 IM.

Januszewski also had a stellar Blue Jay Pentathlon, placing ninth after recording a combined overall time of 2:54.48 across the five events. The freshman swam the 50 Fly in 26.59 seconds, the 50 Backstroke in 28.55 seconds, the 50 Breaststroke in 33.30 seconds, the 50 Free in 25.03 seconds and the 100 IM in 1:01.01.

UP NEXT

The Blue Jays return to the pool next on Friday, October 24, hosting a double-dual meet against Albertus Magnus and Plymouth State inside the Bruyette Natatorium. The meet is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm.
