Heafey-De Angelis Named GNAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Freshman forward Reagan Heafey-De Angelis (South Windsor, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's basketball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the conference front office on Monday afternoon in its sixth weekly report of the 2025-26 season. It marks the first career GNAC weekly honor for Heafey-De Angelis and the first for the USJ women's basketball team this season. The South Windsor, Conn., native also becomes the first Blue Jay to earn Rookie of the Week honors since Jordan Ouellette earned the accolade on January 10, 2022.
Heafey-De Angelis excelled during her first collegiate start this past Monday against Anna Maria College, posting a season-high 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field, while hauling in four rebounds and swiping two steals to lead USJ to victory against the AMCATS.

Heafey-De Angelis and the Blue Jays continue its three-week hiatus, returning to the court on Tuesday, December 30 on the road at Baruch College. Opening tipoff against the Bearcats inside ARC Arena in New York, N.Y., is set for noon.
