Verboven enters her second season on the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's basketball coaching staff in 2026-27 after joining the program as an assistant coach ahead of the 2025-26 season. A standout student-athlete for the Blue Jays, Verboven joined the coaching staff following a decorated playing career that culminated with helping lead USJ to the 2024-25 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship and the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance.

Known for her versatility and impact on both ends of the floor, Verboven finished her career with 1,118 points, ranking 11th in program history. She also totaled 554 rebounds and 260 assists, ranking 10th all-time in both categories. In addition, Verboven holds the USJ single-game record for rebounds, pulling down 22 boards in a triple-overtime thriller against conference rival Albertus Magnus College on January 31, 2023.

Verboven earned her master's degree in management from USJ in 2025.
