Picard Earns Spot on Women’s Soccer All-GNAC Second Team
WINTHROP, Mass. – Senior forward Alana Picard (Windsor Locks, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's soccer team was named to the All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Second Team it was announced by the league's front office during its unveiling of the year-end awards. In addition, senior mid-fielder Gillian Barresi (Holtsville, N.Y.) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team. The end of year awards are voted on by the league's 14 head coaches.
Picard enjoyed an exceptional offensive season, leading the Blue Jays with a team-high 31 points on 14 goals and three assists. The senior was a consistent scoring threat throughout the year and netted two game-winning goals to highlight her impressive 2025 campaign.
