Shores Paces Blue Jays At Runnin' Monks Invitational Saturday
STANDISH, Maine – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's cross country team competed at the Runnin' Monks Invitational hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in Standish, Maine.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Faith Shores (West Simsbury, Conn.) paced the team on the afternoon, earning a 13th place finish after crossing the line in a time of 31:47.0.
- Jaelynn Solorzano (Wallingford, Conn.) was the next Blue Jays to cross the line, finishing in 23rd after posting a 6K time of 35:04.5
- Julie Robinson (Newington, Conn.) rounded out the Blue Jays' lineup, recording a time of 37:23.9, to place 25th.
- Maine-Farmington took home the team title, tallying 29 points.
UP NEXT
The women's cross country returns to action next Saturday, October 15th for the Connecticut College Invitational. Taking place at the Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn., the action is set to get underway at 12:00 p.m.
