WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Behind two goals from sophomore forward Aurelia Barker (Thomaston, Conn.) and two assists from sophomore midfielder Devan Fox (Granville, Mass.), the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) field hockey team defeated the visiting Dean College Bulldogs, 3-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest Tuesday night at the USJ Field Hockey Field in West Hartford, Conn. With the victory, the Blue Jays improve to 3-9 overall on the 2023 season and 3-5 in GNAC play, while the Bulldogs drop to 2-12 overall and 1-8 in conference games with the setback.

Field hockey will look to keep it rolling when it plays next on Saturday, October 14 in a GNAC tilt at home versus Rivier University. The action between the Blue Jays and Raiders is set to get underway at 1:00 p.m. from the USJ Field Hockey Field in West Hartford, Conn.
