Milardo Goal Lifts Men's Soccer Past Regis, 1-0, Tuesday Afternoon

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Sophomore midfielder Mario Milardo (Middletown, Conn.) scored the lone goal in the 58th minute, lifting the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's soccer team past Regis College (Regis), 1-0, Tuesday afternoon at the USJ Soccer Field in West Hartford, Conn. With the victory, the Blue Jays improved to 6-3-2 overall and remained unbeaten in GNAC play at 5-0-2, while the Pride dropped to 4-7-1 overall and 4-2-0 in the GNAC.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The sophomore calmly headed home the ball from close range to give USJ a 1-0 lead in the 58th minute.
