Dowling-Logue, Prosterman Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors; Men's Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team
TEMPE, Ariz. - Sophomore Patrick Dowling-Logue (West Hartford, Conn.) and freshman Nick Prosterman (Windsor, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's tennis team were recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as Division III ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year, the organization announced Wednesday.
In addition, the Blue Jays earned ITA All-Academic Team honors for the first time in program history. The Scholar-Athlete recognition marks the first career ITA academic honor for both Dowling-Logue and Prosterman.
To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, student-athletes must:
- Maintain a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.
- Be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To be recognized as an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must:
- Achieve a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or higher (on a 4.00 scale).
- Include only student-athletes listed on the institutional eligibility form.
- Factor all varsity letter winners into the team's cumulative GPA for the current academic year.
Overall, 1,151 Division III men's tennis student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, while 147 Division III men's tennis programs received ITA All-Academic Team honors.
