2019: As a freshman, Colaccino wasted little time making an impact, dishing out an assist in his first career collegiate contest, a 5-2 win over MCLA on August 30. He had two assists in two starts on the season. The Blue Jays improved all around in year two, sporting a 12-6-1 overall record, earning the five seed in the GNAC Tournament. After the heroic efforts of teammate Michael Torres in the quarterfinals, USJ took on top-seeded Johnson & Wales in the GNAC Semis. A fantastic sophomore season concluded with a tough loss, 3-1.

Before USJ: Colaccino attended Southington High School in his hometown of Southington, Conn. The Blue Knights qualified for the CIAC State Championship three years in a row, making it to the second round twice. Colaccino was All-Central Connecticut Conference (CCC) and the top goal scorer for SHS for three seasons. He was also a captain as a senior. Off the field, Colaccino was an honors student and member of the Italian Club.
